Think You Might
Be Pregnant?
At a time like this it is important to take plenty of time to gather information.
The first question you need to answer is whether or not you are actually pregnant. Then, if you are, you will need to know how to find support and assistance as you make your decisions.
You may suspect that you are pregnant if you are experiencing certain signs and symptoms such as:
- No mentstrual periods
- Nausea and/or vomiting
- Soreness or enlargement of breasts
- Increased urination
- Feeling tired
- Mood swings
Even if you have some or all of these symptoms, you may not be pregnant. Also, it is perfectly normal not to have any symptoms at all during the first month. Except for your missed period, you might not notice anything different.
At Gainesville Care Center, we are here to educate and empower you to make an informed choice!
Perhaps you or someone you love is facing an unplanned pregnancy and you don't know what to do. Our staff can help you consider your options.
Perhaps you have already taken a "home pregnancy test" and it was positive. It could be that you are not really pregnant. We recommend that you visit our center to get our professional urine pregnancy test, the same pregnancy test used by our local health department.
It's not easy to go to your parents with the news that you are pregnant. You may be concerned about the way they will react. The news that you are pregnant will probably hurt at first--but you and they will survive. Sometimes a crisis is what draws a family together. The Gainesville Care Center can help you prepare to share your news with your family.
